Qu'est-ce qu'un c\u00e2ble optique actif (AOC) ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un <strong>C\u00e2ble optique actif (AOC)<\/strong> Il s'agit d'un assemblage de c\u00e2ble \u00e0 fibre optique dot\u00e9 d'\u00e9metteurs-r\u00e9cepteurs optiques int\u00e9gr\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re permanente \u00e0 ses deux extr\u00e9mit\u00e9s. Il permet de remplacer la connexion traditionnelle en deux \u00e9tapes \u2014<em>module enfichable<\/em> + <em>c\u00e2ble de raccordement \u00e0 fibre optique<\/em>\u2014en un seul ensemble pr\u00eat \u00e0 l'emploi, assembl\u00e9 en usine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chaque extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 du c\u00e2ble comporte un dispositif miniaturis\u00e9 <strong>moteur optique<\/strong> qui comprend g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A <strong>laser VCSEL<\/strong> (source lumineuse multimode \u00e0 850 nm)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>circuit int\u00e9gr\u00e9 de commande laser<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>Amplificateur \u00e0 transimp\u00e9dance (TIA)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>DSP \/ CDR<\/strong> pour le traitement des signaux<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Un <strong>MCU<\/strong> pour le diagnostic et le contr\u00f4le<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les AOC emploient g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement <strong>Fibre multimode OM3 ou OM4<\/strong> comme support de transmission. Les donn\u00e9es sont converties de signaux \u00e9lectriques en impulsions optiques, transmises par la fibre, puis reconverties en signaux \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 l'autre extr\u00e9mit\u00e9. AOC ou DAC : pourquoi choisir l'AOC ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans le domaine des interconnexions \u00e0 courte port\u00e9e, les c\u00e2bles AOC sont le plus souvent compar\u00e9s \u00e0 <strong>Cuivre \u00e0 connexion directe (DAC)<\/strong> c\u00e2bles. Sc\u00e9narios d'application principaux<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.1 Cloud et centres de donn\u00e9es hyperscale<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les AOC se connectent <strong>serveurs \u2194 commutateurs ToR<\/strong> et <strong>commutateurs \u00ab feuille \u00bb \u2194 \u00ab \u00e9pine \u00bb<\/strong>. Un seul commutateur 1U \u00e0 32 ports 400G permet de distribuer 32 connecteurs AOC \u00e0 partir d'une seule face avant, sans encombrement ni probl\u00e8me thermique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.2 Clusters d'entra\u00eenement IA (matrices GPU \/ TPU)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans les architectures NVIDIA NVL, InfiniBand NDR\/HDR et autres infrastructures d'IA similaires, <strong>C\u00e2bles AOC de 400 G \/ 800 G<\/strong> constituent les supports d'interconnexion privil\u00e9gi\u00e9s pour les n\u0153uds GPU. Par rapport aux DAC, les AOC offrent :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Une plus grande distance (il est courant que la distance entre les armoires GPU soit d'au moins 5 m)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Une densit\u00e9 plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Taux d'erreur sur les bits (BER) plus faible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2014 autant d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ments essentiels pour garantir la stabilit\u00e9 des sessions d\u2019entra\u00eenement des grands mod\u00e8les.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.3 Calcul haute performance (HPC)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Exigences des clusters HPC <strong>latence d\u00e9terministe<\/strong> et un d\u00e9bit \u00e9lev\u00e9.
